Brent that sounds soooo beautiful. I was just out in CA a few weeks back, and was taken with how beautiful it is out west.
Here it's humid most of the time, not now though. We have a view of the Blue Ridge Mts. that are probably foot-hills compared to what you have. There are forests all around too, but the neighbors are closer than what you have.

From 2005:
NEW YORK - July 7. As news of the London terrorist attack by an al-Qaeda group spread Thursday, three progressive intellectuals Noam Chomsky, Ward Churchill, and Lenora Fulani immediately felt in their hearts the need to reach out and explain to Londoners why the attacks, which killed over 40 people and injured 300, were their own fault and that they fully deserved what they got."Little Eichmanns" Tour To London Canceled The three progressive icons gathered in New York for a press conference, where they stated, "Based on the first reactions out of London, the British people are showing a glaring lack of shame over being attacked. It is our duty, as citizens of this planet, to go to Britain and instill an enormous amount of guilt in the government and its constituents. We would like to see the British apologize to al-Qaeda for what happened."
On the way to JFK airport, however, the progressive troika started having second thoughts about the transatlantic flight. The limousine driver at JFK told our correspondent that his three passengers were getting increasingly jittery and he had to deodorize the seats afterwards, keeping the doors opened for more than 40 minutes before he could take another passenger.
~An English protester, on the day preceding the attacks, explains who the "killer" really is. At the first glimpse of the airfield, the intrepid trio told their driver to slow down, and then ordered him to stop completely. Chomsky was the first to bail out and

Oh yes Summer. We have a cute little log-cabin incense burner, the smoke comes out of the little chimney. The only stick we have right now is called "christmas memories", smells like pine cones. I always liked the musk incense a lot too.

Is your 401k, IRA or Mutual Fund supporting genocide in Darfur?
by Elsewhere ini'm not in the habit of quoting large blocks of text, but i will make an exception in this case:.
http://www.savedarfur.org/page/content/div_4_dar-learn/.
have you heard of divestment?

With all due respect, isn't the UN supposed to impose sanctions such as this? Why are they never around when needed?
Also, Save Darfur--but get out of Iraq? It's basically the same jihaad. Oh, no it isn't b/c China and the Soviets are supplying the janjaweed (mooselems) with weapons.
But again, direct this at the UN.

Brent, you have to remember, "You should be danc'in, Yeah!" Created the genre of dance music, so a lot of people loved the disco Bee Gees.
On the other hand, it did imo lead to their undoing.
Seeing both sides here today,

point of no return
by jacethespace ini want to thank the people involved in this site and the people on here in general as you have all been a great support for me.i think the internet has actually saved my life because i probably would have remained in the watchtower forever without having all this extra information to look into on here and the net in general.well i have now started to pass the point of no return mentally.through information and considering the way watchtower really works.also i have spoke to my mom about me leaving and how i feel and she has give me some support.i feel the watchtower had put a divide between me and my non witness family that has now started to return.its seems to me like the tower severs that parent/ emotional tie and takes its place.im feeling better in my self and although i dont have all the answers am looking foward to moving on for good.im starting to see that the watchtowers happiness is anything but.ive thought for quite a while in fact its anti life.
jacethespace.
ps , anyone want to act out the fall of babylon in a play but replace it with the watchtower headquarters [ thats my anger coming out now].

That's great that you can see that now. That realization took some many yrs to arrive at. In my case, I left home and moved far away at 17 to live with our only jdub family member. About 6 months into it I wanted to go back home, but was told my attitude was similar to the Isrealites who wanted to return to Egypt (!!!!). My worldly family was like the Egyptians? Huh? Having no context at age 17 to put that into, needless to say I stopped committing 'thought crimes'. Real quick.
I've been out for yrs., except for the occasional meeting but haven't had the courage yet to tell my mother of my new found clarity on the whole WT$ after what I put her through for it. Every once in a while she would ask if I thought I'd ever go back to that. Now, the answer would finally be a decisive NO.
You're new here, aye? Glad your feeling good and gaining perspective. Funny how the chaotic thought processes instilled by the WT melt away isn't it?

JK your comments that I've seen have been kind and still very funny. You're right though that we all need to be careful. People are lurking here.
